I took this photo on a short walk yesterday afternoon. There’s a lot to stop for these days. The weather has been unseasonably warm. The plants are growing faster than I can keep up with. I went back to the location of the scilla and violets with some film cameras and there was nothing left to photograph — they were done blooming in a matter of days!
Can anyone confirm whether or not these are Tulipa sylvestris? There’s a few things about them that seem a bit off so I’ve never been absolutely certain. The plants are about 7 inches tall maximum.
Whatever they are, they make my heart sing
Joanna
I know! The season moves so fast I want to shout to the plants to slow down spend more time with us.
