The star purchase from last Saturday’s plant sale excursion. I am yet to repot it.
Unfortunately the flower was mercilessly ripped off by a squirrel yesterday morning. I am so glad I took this photo when I did!

Nice shot. The flower looks so silky and rich offset against the brick and plastic pot. I followed your tweets yesterday about the squirrels. It was a slow motion action sequence via social networking. Crazy! Sorry about the animal disaster, by the way. I know how painful it is! Is that a pitcher plant? Those are very interesting plants if it indeed is and is worthy of discussion.
