I am getting a first-rate education in the wide world of clematis from my visits to Barry’s garden. So far, I seem to lean towards the bell-shaped flowers and this may be my very favourite yet. It’s velvety!

What a beautiful picture!
How unusual! I have never seen one quite like that!
I want to feel it! It looks felt.
Very cool clematis!
Very nice photo, maybe I need to visit his garden.

Wow, that is beautiful!
You amaze me that you can have a new pic everyday…and they are all really good photos. Have to ask, do you take 50 or 100 photos a day and store up for a dry spell?
Must look for this one in the nurseries. Just planted my first clematis this year…trying to hold off, seeing if this one survives.
This is quite amazing, I’d say.
Liane: Thank you. I do take a lot of photos but how many depends on the day.
During the growing season I generally post them as I go or as I get the film developed and scanned. So most photos are in-sync with what’s blooming right now.
In the winter I tend to bring out photos taken during the previous growing season.
That is the cutest clematis I’ve ever seen. Fuzzy plants are the best.
