Is it possible to listen to it on the internet? I don’t have an iPod and am not familiar with podcasts to know if they are otherwise accessible.

Yes you can play podcasts in any way that you would play an mp3. Itunes are best because you can subscribe to podcasts and it will automatically down load when a new one is posted.
