Dear Gayla,
I have never left a post on a blog before (I only read two, one being yours), but I saw this picture and had to write! Out of a packet of peas called ‘Progress No 9’ I had one fantastic plant that had exactly these coloured flowers, the rest of the plants had white flowers. I diligently saved the dried peas and have planted them this year and have a whole host of these pretty flowers now – they are really very beautiful.
So lovely, Gayla. The lighting, the soft colours. Beautiful image to start my day. Still no sunshine in Vancouver…but at least no rain today.
This is the first year we’ve planted the DGS and we too are enjoying the riot of color produced by the flowers.
