  1. Hi Gayla,

I was one of the winners of your Organic Gardening subscription last year for writing a haiku about my garden. Anyway, I had a really tough couple of years, split from my husband, switched schools, etc. and actually stopped gardening for a long time. I just started a garden club at my new school and have started a garden at my new house as well. It’s been a long time but I finally feel more myself than I have in a long time. I haven’t read your site for many, many months but chose to today while my students take a test, and I want to say thanks for creating something really wonderful. Reading through your posts from the last year has reawakened my gardening addiction, the need that all of us gardeners feel to collect and cultivate all through the year. You’ve made my day! Thanks….p
