  1. I just tasted sage flowers for the first time this week! They have a magical taste, kind of remiscent of a fairy tale. That part only kicks in after a few seconds. The first moment is sweet, like there’s a pocket of syrup about half the size of a mustard seed. A guy from a local organic farm let me taste one, and I immediately bought a bunch as a gift for a friend who’s a herbalist. He said his sage plant is huge and full of flowers, and he didn’t even know about this magic.
