Pepper Growing Help

You Grow Girl is celebrating 14 years online this month! As you can imagine an awful lot of articles have been posted in that time and with so much to choose from it can sometimes be tricky to find what you’re looking for. To make things easier, I have been slowly building an archive of Growing Guides that round up some of the best info into one easy-to-find place. You can also find them listed in the sidebar on the right side of most pages.

The most recent addition to this collection is a guide dedicated to growing hot and sweet peppers. Perhaps this will help you choose a variety or two to try this year. Happy growing!

p.s. If you’re curious, the sweet bell peppers in the above photo are ‘Albino Bullnose.’ I grew them for many years in 12″-deep pots on my roof with great success. One plant per pot only!

  1. My goodness, 14 years! That’s so impressive and no wonder you have such a beautiful blog! Congratulations, here’s to the next 14 and thanks for sharing so much :)

  2. Thank you for organizing the site into easy to search chunks! I really appreciate it and value your expertise and information.

  3. Love all your books and following your blog/website. I’m always trying to do things on a low budget and avoid wasting materials, so I really appreciate that you give practical ideas on how to get things done in the garden. Thanks for all your vegetable garden guidance!

  4. Oh I NEED this. For some unknown reason (mostly just that I have no sweet clue what I’m doing), I have been totally unsuccessful at growing peppers in my raised beds. I am determined to Make It Happen this year. Determined!
