Today marks one year since I started the Grow Write Guild. Thanks so much to those of you who have followed along, commented, posted, or promoted this endeavour over the last year. It’s been a lot of fun dreaming up the prompts and following along with your responses.

Tell More Stories

For those who are new to this site, the Grow Write Guild is, in a nutshell, a creative writing prompt series for people who love to garden. The focus is on exploring personal experience and asking why we garden, although I have brought in a few tips for those who prefer to write about how-to garden. The post I wrote announcing the series explains my motivations in starting this project and the F.A.Q on this page better explains how it works.

I intend to continue this series through the coming year and I hope you’ll join in if you haven’t already. I have been working hard behind the scenes on lots of ideas and directions that I hope will inspire you to be creative, make something, and explore your relationship with gardening from another angle.

If you have any questions or thoughts on the series so far please let me know in the comments below or via email if you prefer to keep it private. Your feedback helps in shaping the direction I take when planning future prompts (as well as the order in which I publish them) and knowing that you are participating keeps me motivated to keep working on them!
